Description |
Database
The BC4J-VSM sample application was designed and built to run with an
Oracle9i database running
SQL*Net TCP/IP listener. It will also work with an Oracle8i
database. Other databases may work, too, but have not been tested.
IDE
The BC4J-VSM was built using Oracle9i
JDeveloper version 9.0.3. JDeveloper provides a full-featured integrated
development environment (IDE) that you can use to view and edit the source
code, and to compile and deploy the application.
J2EE Container
JDeveloper includes Oracle9iAS
Containers for J2EE (OC4J), an embedded J2EE container that you can
deploy to and use as an application server to test the BC4J-VSM.
Application Server
You can also deploy the BC4J-VSM to Oracle9i
Application Server.
