The following software is required to build, deploy, run, and use the FBS 10g:

Application Source Code

OTN members can download complete FBS 10g source code and supporting materials, including a user's guide:

Other Software

The following software is required to build and run the FBSs 10g. You may also want to use Oracle JDeveloper 10g as an IDE. JDeveloper provides many tools, libraries, and other features that make it easier to view, build, and run the sample code.

• Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE 10g (Developer Preview or Production).
  
• Apache Ant 1.5.x or later.
  
• Oracle9i or later Database Server.
  
• Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 1.4.x
  

In addition, a Google account and license key are optional; you need them only to get the latest financial news.

Suported Clients

Users can access the FBS 10g using any of the following clients:

• Computer-based Web browser. The FBS 10g was tested using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5, Netscape Communicator 6.0, and Mozilla 1.1b.

• Mobile device. As we have followed MVC (Model View Controller) Design Pattern in this application, mobile-enabling the application translated into writing a different view for the same model. Oracle9iAS Wireless Server supports rendering of content onto any device using any protocol.
