Tutorial: About the FBS 10g

The FBS 10g sample application is an end-to-end sample application that enables users to simulate trading stocks, managing portfolios, and accessing real time data. It implements new features defined in the EJB 2.1 specification, including Web Service endpoints and the timer service, as well as commonly-accepted J2EE design patterns. The FBS 10g also demonstrates some features of the Top Link Persistence framework.

This tutorial gives an overview of the FBS 10g, describes how to install and run the application, and explains the concepts and technologies on which it is based.
