IDS902Scripts readme

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
These scripts have been tested and known to work with the following software
configurations:

Windows 2000 sp1 or sp2
Forms Builder 9.0.2.0.x
Reports Builder 9.0.2.0.x
JAWS 3.70.87 or 4.02.52

INSTALLATION:
To install the ids902scripts (
jaws scripts for forms9I builder and reports9I builder), follow these steps.

1. Download the file ids902scripts002416.zip.
2. Use winzip to open the file.
3.  Press  to select all files,
   then press  to extract them.

   Enter the jaws script folder when asked for the target folder.
  For example:
   If jaws is installed at c:\jaws37,
   You would enter:

  c:\jaws37\settings\enu

   as the target.

4. Exit winzip.

FORMS BUILDER SCRIPT USAGE NOTES:
All features of the forms builder have been enabled for jaws use
with the exception of the layout editor, a highly visual tool.
All of the layout editor's  functionality can be obtained through the use
of the object navigator and property inspector which are jaws enabled.

When using the object library,
if the library has multiple tabs containing objects,
it is necessary to use the jaws cursor to locate the desired tab header
and single click it.
Next, click on an object in the tab to enable the normal speaking of
objects using the up anddown arrow keys.

REPORTS BUILDER SCRIPT USAGE NOTES:

The reports builder scripts are designed to enable a jaws user
to create a basic report using the report wizard.
For further adjustments to the report, it will be necessary to export
the report in xml format and make the modifications
to the xml file before re-importing the report into the builder.


Known Bugs:

Forms Builder:
  The behavior of jaws in the object library can be inconsistant.
The list of items in the library may not be read properly 
especially if there are multiple library pages.
