Oracle JRockit Mission Control - Update Site Instructions

Oracle® JRockit Mission Control can be downloaded and installed using the Eclipse Update Site facility. The following URL functions as an update site. Novice users can follow the step-by-step instructions.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Before starting, make sure that you have downloaded and installed Eclipse 3.3.

  1. Select Help > Software Updates > Find and Install menu.

  1. Select Search for new features to install option and click on the Next button.

  1. Click on the New Remote Site button.

  1. Fill in the following URL in the New Update Site dialog. Click on the Ok button when done.

  1. Make sure that the check box next to JRockit Mission Control list entry is checked. Click on the Finish button.

  1. Select the check box next to Oracle JRockit Mission Control feature and click on the Next button.

  1. Read the license agreement and select I accept the terms in the license agreement when ready. Click on the Next button.

  1. You can change the location where Oracle JRockit Mission Control will be installed on this screen. Once happy with the selection, click on the Finish button to continue.

  1. The plug-ins will be downloaded and you will eventually be prompted with a screen showing the information about the security certificate that the plug-ins were signed with. Note that the versions that you see may differ from the screen shot on the left. Once you have had a chance to review the certificate, click on the Install All button.

    Note: For R27.6 the plug-ins will not be signed.
