Oracle Entitlements Server Admin 10.1.4.3
The OES Administration Application provides
centralized management of application entitlements, letting
you control all of your security policies and configuration
data from a single web-based console. Configuration, security
policy, and user metadata for OES-distributed Security Services
Modules are managed and provisioned by the Administration Application.
All administrative functions, including delegation, are fully
configurable through administrative policies.

Oracle Entitlements Server Security Module 10.1.4.3
The OES product supports a variety of
Security Modules (SMs) that reside in the application environments
protected by OES. They provide the runtime enforcement of entitlements
and integrate with the underlying security framework to provide
services for authentication, auditing, role mapping, and credential
mapping. The security framework also provides a simple application
programming interface (API) that can be used by security and
application developers to define security policies and services.
SSMs are provided for the WebLogic Platform, Apache and IIS
Web servers, Java applications, and non-Java applications through
a generic Web Services SSM. All supported SSMs for a given operating
system are included in a single download file.

Oracle Entitlements Server Distribution Archive 10.1.4.3
The OES Distribution Archive provides
a single archive file that includes both the Administration
Application as well as all Security Modules. This package does
not contain any GUI installer and hence is meant for advanced
customers on AIX wishing to customize the installation process.
Each archive has a post-processing/README file that contains
information on how to correctly setup the required properties
files such that you can create an OES 10gR3 installation
directory from this package. For a simpler installation experience,
please use the Admin and Security Module installers above.
