of OC4J is now available for download from OTN. The Developer
Preview contains bug fixes and new features, and gives you
an opportunity to try out the next version of OC4J ahead of
the full Oracle9iAS

1.3 Compatible Production Release Now Available
The J2EE
1.3 compatible, production version of Oracle9iAS
(9.0.3) is now available for download. This release provides
the popular J2EE and WebCache installation option consisting
of the Oracle HTTP Server, OC4J, Oracle Enterprise Manager,
and Oracle Web Cache. The OC4J standalone distribution is
also available.

Oracle has recently posted outstanding
results for the standards based ECPerf J2EE benchmark. Oracle
leads both the performance
category with a runaway result of 61862.37 BBops/min at $28,
and also the price-performance
category with a result of 26439.37 BBops/min at $5.
