By completing the steps in this debugging procedure, you can provide the Support team with the specific details they require in order to quickly and efficiently debug the issue you encountered during your migration.

1. Identify the Installation Configuration

Please provide the version and operating system of the Oracle Migration Workbench, the Oracle database, the source database and the source ODBC driver as outlined in the following table:

2. Identify the Source of the Error

You can do this by identifying the following two key pieces of information:

1. At what stage of the migration did the error actually occur?
   Did it occur during the load of the source database, the creation of the Oracle Model or the migration to the Oracle database? In order to successfully identify the root cause of the migration failure, we recommend that you restart the migration (with a clean repository) and move through each stage of the migration using the Capture and Migration wizards, checking for errors at each stage.
   
   
2. What is the exact text of the error message?
   Once you have located the error text, we recommend that you check the Oracle Migration Workbench FAQ to see if a workaround already exists and is documented. The Oracle Migration Workbench FAQ is available on the Oracle Technology Network and from the Help menu within the Oracle Migration Workbench itself.

3. Create a Reproducible Test Case

A reproducible test case is required in order for the Support team to resolve your issue. Please provide the details that correspond to the time at which your error occurred, as outlined in the following table:
