Client
Our client is one of the largest leasing organizations in Europe that offers products to a wide range of customers through various channels including its direct marketing network, vendor partners and Saving Banks network.
Hexaware provided thought leadership, architecture consulting, reverse engineering of the business rules from the m/f applications and reengineering to a unified architecture implemented by a Framework based development practices. Hexaware provided the entire migration services and program managed one of the largest m/f migrations. Some of the solution highlights include:
- Portfolio study & rationalization of existing systems
- Reverse engineering of applications to be re-engineered
- Cutting down redundancies and meeting customer’s expectations on performance and user friendliness
- Meeting the Non Functional requirement of 500 concurrent users and 20,000 total users for a complex calculation based system
- Achieving technical compatibility with multi OS web browsers some of which were outdated
- Tool based cleansing and migration of existing data from multiple source databases to ORACLE RDBMS.
Integration of the new application with over 25 external systems
Client
The Client is a leading IT System Integrator and Product Vendor for Transportation, Logistics and Finance domains. The legacy Airlines product is used by large number of Airline companies all over the world.
The solution involved various activities like culling out business rules from legacy products, Use Case Specifications conceptualization, Object Oriented modeling using UML tools, Code development, testing, managing of complex multi site configuration control repositories for the various products. The common thread across all these components are the RUP based development processes, time tested J2EE technology guidelines and architecture and the tool based approach. This project was executed using a collaborative approach having both the client and Hexaware consultants involved during development phase of the product.

Our client is the leading life insurance provider in the United States offering a complete portfolio of traditional and variable life insurance and, fixed and variable annuities.
Mainframe based 3 MLOC of COBOL has been re-engineered into J2EE compliant 3-tier architecture to address the following:
