| Case Study: Passkey
Passkey provides Software-as-a-Service solution to its customers in order to address their group hotel reservation needs. Customers are Conventions and Visitor Bureaus (CVB), Event Managers, Registrations companies and Hotels. Customers (or users of the system) have the ability to manage their respective list of events, group of hotels, attendees. They have ability to create customized templates for a web-booking engine, interface 3rd party applications using published web services and manage hotel reservations.
Patni has developed and delivered various products and projects over the last 4 years of enagement including:
- Resweb: web booking engine, provides event managers ability to customize web layouts using templates. Using this application attendees can manage their hotel reservations for upcoming events
- RegLink: Enables seamless integration between registration software and Passkey. Thus allowing registration companies to manager hotel reservations using published web services.
- Grouplink: one way and 2way reservation transfer interface for hotels. Licensee hotels once integrated benefit from seamless flow of reservations between Passkey and their Property Management Systems / Central Reservation Systems.
- Database migration: Migrated application and database from SQL*Server to Oracle 10g, 2 instance RAC with ASM. PasskeyX: Developed and delivered application with new modern, easy, fun to use look and feel.
