The growth of RDF data makes it imperative
that an efficient and scalable mechanism for bulk-loading RDF graphs be
supported. This presentation analyzes the characteristics of RDF data and
their relevance in the design of a bulk-load scheme, outlines the bulk-load
scheme implemented as part of Oracle Database Semantic Technologies and
presents a performance study conducted with a variety of RDF graphs (from
UniProt and synthesized data of Lehigh University Benchmark) to demonstrate
the scalability of the approach.
