Oracle Fail Safe release 3.1.2 supports
automatic clusterwide configuration of highly available databases
and applications on Windows NT and Windows
2000 clusters with one, two, or more nodes. The information
in the tables below supercedes that provided in the Release
Notes included with the software.
Note: Oracle Fail Safe Release 3.1.2 will be desupported on September 30, 2003. Customers should upgrade Oracle Fail Safe and their Oracle database and application software to later (supported) releases before this date to ensure continued support for their high availability solutions.

Fail Safe Compatibility When Installed on Windows NT Clusters
Oracle Fail Safe release 3.1.2 is

Fail Safe Server is installed on Microsoft Windows NT Enterprise

Windows 2000 validation is in progress
for many of the tools and applications software components listed
in the software compatibility table for Windows NT. It is
anticipated that, when available, the Windows 2000 validated releases
of these products will be compatible with Oracle Fail Safe 3.1.2.
This table will be updated with new compatibility information as
it becomes available.
