Oracle Service for MTS is installed with the Oracle database server.
Beginning with Oracle9i, Oracle Service for MTS is no longer needed
for an Oracle database server to participate in a Microsoft Transaction
Server transaction. All the code and logic to enable Oracle database
servers to participate in Microsoft Transaction Server transactions
are embedded in the MTS application process, so there is no need
to make the Oracle Service for MTS highly available for Oracle
database servers release 9.0.1 or later.
