Oracle Fail Safe Server release 3.3.3 for Windows 2003 (64-bit Itanium) is a server-only release that supports automatic clusterwide configuration of highly available databases on Windows 2003 (64-bit Itanium) clusters with one, two, or more nodes. The information in the table below supercedes that provided in the Release Notes included with the software.

Oracle Fail Safe 3.3.3 Compatibility When Installed on Windows 2003 (64-bit Itanium) Clusters

Oracle Fail Safe Server release 3.3.3 for Windows 2003 (64-bit Itanium) is compatible with the software shown in the following table when Oracle Services for MSCS is installed on Microsoft Windows 2003 (64-bit Itanium) Advanced Server or Datacenter Server, and Oracle Fail Safe Manager (release 3.3.3 from the 32-bit Oracle Fail Safe CD) is installed in a separate home on a system configured with one of the following 32-bit operating systems:

• Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 6a)

• Microsoft Windows 98

• Microsoft Windows 2000

• Microsoft Windows 2003

• Microsoft Windows XP
