Signature
Capture
You can now incorporate signature
capture functionality into mobile browser applications.
In Oracle9iAS Wireless 9.0.2.10 and Oracle Application Server
Wireless 10g (9.0.4), an additional type of form control
is provided for capturing signatures in Wireless XML (<SimpleFormItem
name="capture" ... />). On devices with built-in signature
capabilities (i.e. Symbol Spectrum24R WebClient for Palm
Computing Platform), Wireless will automatically generate
the appropriate markup language. A Signature Capture Plug-In
is provided for PocketPC devices running WinCE 3.0 or later
(Pocket PC, Pocket PC2000, Pocket PC 2002, Pocket PC 2003
and 4.0 .Net based devices.) Jan 2004
