Oracle Corporation is pleased to announce that we have acquired 360Commerce, a privately held provider of open store and multi-channel solutions software. We want to share this exciting news with you, and let you know how we anticipate this transactionwill benefit you as a valued Oracle customer.

With this acquisition, Oracle plans to deliver on our vision of customer-centric retailing. Oracle and 360Commerce have complementary products with a common focus on supporting our respective customers, which includes many of the most successful retailers in the world. The combination of Oracle and 360Commerce will bring together the best store solutions, merchandising, supply chain, and optimization solutions from the enterprise to the store. The combination with Oracle’s leading database infrastructure and ERP applications is expected to provide a highly integrated solution for the customer insight-driven retail enterprise.

With over 14 years of development in the store solutions arena, the acquisition of 360Commerce is expected to incrementally add to Oracle’s understanding to the needs of the retail industry. 360Commerce has one of the most proven and widely deployed open store solutions in the world.

The combination is expected to significantly reduce the total cost of ownership while maintaining the flexibility that Java-based store solutions have been proven to deliver.
