On July 23, 2009, Oracle announced the acquisition of GoldenGate Software, Inc. ("GoldenGate"), a leading provider of real-time data integration solutions to create a comprehensive heterogeneous data integration platform. This combination is expected to deliver the fastest and most scalable real-time data integration solution for customers.

Demand for improved business performance is on the rise.
