I am pleased to announce that Oracle has completed its acquisition of RightNow and RightNow is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Oracle. The combination of Oracle and RightNow is expected to help companies deliver great customer experiences, accelerating the acquisition of new customers, maximizing customer loyalty and retention, and improving operational efficiency.
Delivering great customer experiences has become a strategic imperative for organizations globally. RightNow adds leading cloud-based Customer Service software that helps to deliver exceptional experiences across contact centers, the web, and social networks. Together, Oracle and RightNow are expected to help organizations provide a unified, personalized and consistent experience across all channels and customer touch points.
Oracle is moving aggressively to offer customers a full range of Cloud solutions, including sales force automation, marketing, human resources, social networking, databases, and Java as a part of the Oracle Public Cloud. With the addition of RightNow, Oracle adds the industry's leading cloud-based customer experience and customer service solution to the Oracle Public Cloud.
RightNow will join Oracle as a global business unit (GBU) focused on customer experience solutions. We expect that joining Oracle as a GBU will provide significant benefits for customers and partners, including continuity of relationships, service, and solutions.
We would like to invite you to a webcast on Tuesday, January 31, at 9:00 a.m. PT, where we will share with customers and partners more information on our plans for the combination and how the combination will benefit Oracle and RightNow customers.
Please continue to reach out to your existing sales and services representatives if you have any questions. You may also continue to check oracle.com/rightnow for more information.
Thank you for your continued support.
