Call for Nominations: Java Business Innovation Award

Are you using the Java platform to embed innovation within your business or achieve market advantage? If you have taken Oracle Java Embedded to a new vertical market, are leveraging inherent Java capabilities such as security and portability to address industry challenges, or are building out a new product based on the Oracle Java Embedded platform, you may be eligible for the Java Business Innovation award, part of the Oracle Excellence Awards program. Submit a nomination form by July 17 if your company is using any of the Oracle Java Embedded products (Oracle Java Standard Edition for Embedded Devices or Oracle Java Micro Edition Embedded Client, for example) to lead innovation. The Java Business Innovation award will be presented during Java Embedded @ JavaOne 2012 (September 30 through October 4) in San Francisco.

• One (1) winner will be selected from customer and/or partner nominations. Partners, partners’ customers, or Oracle representatives can submit nomination forms on behalf of nominees.
• Use the nomination form to discuss the nominee's use of Oracle Java Embedded products and how those products have helped to drive innovation in the nominated solution.
• The winner will be selected based on the extent to which the nominated solution uses Oracle Java Embedded in new and challenging ways.

• Nominated company uses at least one component of the Oracle Java Embedded platform (Oracle Java Standard Edition for Embedded Devices or Oracle Java Micro Edition Embedded Client, for example)
• This solution should be in production or in active development
• Nomination deadline: Tuesday July 17, 2012

• Award presented to winners during JavaOne by a senior Oracle executive
• Placement in an Oracle press release
• Placement in Profit magazine and/or Oracle Magazine
