Adaptive TechSoft (ATS), established in the early 1990s, develops integrated systems and applications to meet the information technology needs of regional markets by providing integrated solutions for healthcare organizations, such as hospitals and health insurance companies, and higher education institutions, such as universities and colleges. ATS has achieved the Exadata Optimized status, certified by Oracle's value added distributor Avnet Technology Solutions Middle East & Africa.

ATS, whose applications are used throughout the Middle East, needed to consolidate commodity servers with different operating systems, applications, and technical specifications to ensure high performance of online transaction processing (OLTP) in hosted and consolidated scenarios, as well as to provide a reliable and scalable system infrastructure for eRegister, the company's university information management system. ATS conducted benchmark testing at Oracle partner Avnet’s Exadata solution center in Dubai, connecting 10,000 concurrent users to the company's eRegister 5.0 application, deployed on Oracle Exadata Database Machine with Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud and Oracle WebCenter Portal. The benchmark demonstrated that up to 100,000 educational institution users can be served simultaneously, without noticeable effect on system performance.
