Associação dos Funcionários Públicos do Estado de São Paulo – AFPESP is Latin America’s largest association, with a membership of 250,000 federal, state, and municipal employees. In addition to providing cultural, sports, and leisure services, the organization manages a country club, 14 membership hotels, and 21 offices across São Paulo State.

“We implemented Oracle Database Appliance in just one weekend and without any obstacles. Our team received all support needed from the Oracle staff throughout the project, including the data migration process and the platform implementation,” Morales said.

Oracle partner DBGuard assisted AFPESP’s infrastructure and systems staff, from the acquisition of Oracle Database Appliance to its implementation and setup.

“DBGuard participated in all implementation stages, including training our database administrator. This high level of involvement provided a safe and easy migration with almost no service interruptions,” Morales said.
