BouMatic Improves Forecasting, Inventory Management, Strategic Pricing, and Remote Access to Business Data with Upgraded Enterprise Applications

BouMatic is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of quality milking systems and dairy farm equipment, including milking parlors, herd management systems, milk cooling systems, dairy hygiene chemicals, udder healthcare products, hoof care products, dairy supplies, and equipment spare parts.

The company first deployed Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications in 2004 and has been running its business on them since that time, achieving significant visibility into operations management as well as additional operational efficiency across its global enterprise. In 2011, as BouMatic began to prepare for an expanded Oracle footprint, including the deployment of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, it wanted to ensure current support for its enterprise applications. The executive team decided the time was right to upgrade to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0 to meet those requirements and benefit from new functionality, including Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher, as well as expanded forecasting capabilities. In mid2012, BouMatic further extended its Oracle footprint with Oracle CRM On Demand, which enabled the company to achieve a 360-degree view of prospective and current customers from a single system and provide its marketing team with greater insight and flexibility to launch targeted campaigns. It also gained the ability to expedite product returns through integration between Oracle CRM On Demand and the company’s JD Edwards CRM applications.
