Government of Orissa Streamlines Budget Distribution, Introduces Online Payment of Government Taxes

The Government of Orissa – Directorate of Treasuries and Inspection (DTI) is the administrative head for 166 treasuries and subtreasuries across the Indian state of Orissa. DTI monitors and inspects treasury operations, examines pension cases, conducts special audits, verifies bill transactions, and monitors accounts submitted to Orissa’s Office of the Accountant General by the treasuries. It also distributes budget provisions from administrative departments to controlling and drawing disbursing officers. The agency provides electronic receipts of government taxes.
