Implementation Process

Synaptics worked with Oracle Consulting to develop a deployment roadmap based on best practices. Oracle Consulting also helped to replace the homegrown legacy systems and completed the initial deployment on time and on budget.

“Oracle Consulting was instrumental in replacing our legacy processes for managing quality data with a robust, enterprisewide system,” Parakala said.

The company is nearing the end of a six-year, phased enterprisewide implementation that began with creating a foundation with Oracle’s Agile Product Collaboration in 2007 and has expanded annually to advantage of new functionality and modules. Its most recent focus has been on deploying analytical applications to expand insight. It also recently completed an upgrade to Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.
