  • Work with Oracle Hungary to create certified proof-of-concept tests, which are enticing to the price-conscious and conservative Hungarian IT market
  • Establish a local testing center to enhance cost efficiency, as, prior to this deployment, the nearest Oracle Exadata demo center was in Reading, England
  • Accelerate the duration of decibels relative to full scale (dBFS) data loadings and structured query language (SQL) batch runs, while compressing terabyte-size databases for potential clients
  • Enable overnight data processing to ensure the environment is stable, updated, and available for the morning opening of Hungarian banks

Oracle Product and Services

  • Constructed the first Oracle Exadata Database Machine testing center in central Eastern Europe, where potential customers can test the advantages of database systems within real-time conditions
  • Created a proof of concept process for prospective clients that consists of a three week preparation period and a two week testing process
  • Leveraged Oracle Real Application Clusters to reach quality assurance goals for varying formats and data quality
  • Realized a 7.5 times acceleration in batch SQL runs, a 1,800 megabyte per second performance in dBFS data loading, while compressing larger databases to one-fourth their original size using Oracle’s Exadata hybrid columnar compression
  • Reduced the cost of inviting regional prospective clients to test Oracle’s database solutions by establishing a centrally located testing center
