ValueOptions uses Oracle Database for a data warehouse and reporting solution. Due to its expanding client base and corresponding data growth—20% in 2009, 35% in 2010, and 50% in 2011—the data warehouse and storage and performance requirements have increased. In addition, the company’s customers need the ability to make better, faster use of data through reporting and analytics.

The deployment of an Oracle Exadata Half Rack at its primary site and an Oracle Exadata Quarter Rack at a secondary site, using Oracle Data Guard for replication, was achieved in just over a week.
