Deploying Oracle Real Application Clusters Using Oracle VM Templates—an Economic Impact Assessment

Evaluator Group performed a study deploying an Oracle Real Application Clusters (Oracle RAC) configuration on Oracle VM and VMware vSphere and found a significant time and cost savings with Oracle VM and Oracle VM Templates. In addition to this lab evaluation, Evaluator Group also interviewed an Oracle systems administrator as a basis for an additional comparison of building templates in a production environment. New Hardware Certifications

Inspur is a leading cloud computing solution provider in China with service capacity covering infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, and software as a service. It has recently announced its support for Oracle Linux 7 and Oracle VM 3.3. Atos Technologies has also certified support for its Bull Servers on Oracle Linux and Oracle VM. The servers are bullion S2 and S4, and novascale bullion. Please check the Oracle Linux and Oracle VM Hardware Certification List (HCL) for these and the latest certifications.
