Oracle today announced certification of Sophoi's Intellectual Property Licensing Suite (iPLS 3.0) with Oracle(r) Fusion Middleware. Sophoi's iPLS software is a leading enterprise-scale business solution for intellectual property management and licensing. This certification helps media and entertainment companies to increase their capacity for growth and gain greater insight into their businesses while reducing costs through the use of Oracle Fusion Middleware and SOA-based business processes. Customers will be able to integrate the tracking and licensing of their intellectual property assets, such as film, TV shows, music and publications, with a mix of Oracle and non-Oracle applications.
The use of Oracle Fusion Middleware will enable Sophoi's iPLS and Oracle Applications including Oracle's Siebel CRM, Oracle Business Intelligence, Oracle Financials, Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Accounts Receivable and Oracle Accounts Payable to work together. This combination is a best-in-class offering for the media and entertainment industry, and allows customers to organize and track their intellectual property assets, negotiate their contracts, expedite their financial transactions and analyze their customer data more easily and, in the end, make more informed business decisions.
"Sophoi delivers the leading enterprise-class, business rights and royalties applications with the most configurable solutions for media and entertainment organizations today," Venkat Reddy, CTO, Sophoi.
