More than 250 New Resellers Transact Business Through Oracle’s VAD Remarketer Program
25 New Distributors join program; Oracle Wins Ingram Micro’s 2007 Leap Award for Outstanding Growth and Leadership

After only six months, more than 250 new resellers worldwide are now transacting Oracle business through the 25 Value Added Distributors (VADs) who have signed up and been authorized to resell through the Oracle VAD Remarketer program.
These VARs see a unique opportunity to extend the Oracle portfolio to their customers without having to make up-front financial investments to build an Oracle practice.
Additionally, there have been more than 1,000 orders of Oracle® software through the “ORACLE 1-CLICK ORDERING” process, during the same period. This new ordering process streamlines and assists partners and customers to more easily resell and purchase Oracle software.
As recognition that Oracle has expanded access and support to its products for partners selling to small and mid-sized organizations, Ingram Micro, a leading global broad-based IT distributor, presented the 2007 Leap Award to Oracle for demonstrating outstanding growth and partnership with Ingram Micro in a broad set of performance categories including revenue, profit, collaboration, marketing advocacy, process and logistics.

VAD Remarketer Program Details
The Oracle VAD Remarketer program is a global program that allows authorized Oracle Value Added Distributors (VADs) to resell Oracle 1-CLICK Ordering Technology products through new resellers without requiring them to join the Oracle PartnerNetwork or pay the typical requirement of upfront fees and contracts with Oracle.
Resellers can transact Oracle business as a Remarketer through any authorized Oracle VAD and leverage that VAD for suppoort, training and other reseller services.
If desired, Remarketers may at any time upgrade and join the Oracle PartnerNetwork to receive OPN benefits such as direct Oracle support assistance, discounts on training and free software downloads.
