More than 65 leading communications service providers (CSPs) have implemented or selected Oracle Communications Applications and infrastructure software in Oracle’s most recent fiscal year to help improve customer service, accelerate time to market, drive service innovation and reduce operational costs.

Swisscom, Switzerland's leading CSP, has extended its use of Oracle products (including Oracle's Siebel CRM, Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management and various Oracle Applications and infrastructure software). In particular, Swisscom will extend its use of Siebel CRM, which it has used for several years for its wireless customer services, to support its wireline customers and standardize business processes. Swisscom will also use Oracle’s Hyperion Budgeting and Planning and Hyperion Essbase to simplify budgeting and enable accurate forecasting, as well as gain insight into performance management with advanced modeling capabilities. Swisscom also uses Oracle infrastructure software including Oracle Grid Control to reduce operational costs by consolidating management and monitoring of all applications and IT systems.
