Oracle Asia Pacific Announces Winners of Oracle PartnerNetwork Awards

Oracle today announced 20 recipients of the 2008 Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Partner Awards for Asia Pacific (excluding Japan). Partners across multiple channel types were recognized for their success in creating value for customers during Oracle’s fiscal year 2008 (ended 31 May 2008) by developing and implementing innovative solutions based on Oracle technology and applications.

During FY08, Oracle grew its partner base by 15% across Asia Pacific as it welcomed more than 400 new partners to the Oracle PartnerNetwork. Oracle currently has more than 3,100 partners across the Asia Pacific region. The indirect sales channel manages over 80% of Oracle Asia Pacific’s license revenues.

The following 20 Oracle PartnerNetwork Partner Award winners for FY08 were recognized at Oracle Asia Pacific’s Executive Partner Forum (EPF) – the annual forum that brings together Oracle and its top partners to discuss business opportunities, go-to-market strategies and advances in the OPN program:

China’s Neusoft Corporation Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Jun Li, winner of the Oracle Innovation Partner of the Year 2008 award, said: “We are very pleased to receive this award at this year's Oracle Executive Partner Forum. Neusoft has always been focused on solutions and services in China and around the globe. Oracle has given us a great deal of support as a solutions partner. Thailand’s iCE Consulting General Manager Kanjana Limpunyalert, winner of the Oracle Applications Partner of the Year 2008 award, said, “This is great validation of our work with Oracle last year. iCE Consulting has been an Oracle partner since 1995. China’s Beijing Noahark Finance Consulting President Han Xiangdong, winner of the Oracle EPM Partner of the Year 2008 award, said, “"Noahark was originally a financial consultancy company. In 2004, Noahark became Hyperion's first EPM partner in China. After Oracle acquired Hyperion, we became an Oracle partner. Currently, Oracle accounts for 60 to 70 percent of Noahark's business. Korea’s BiTek Information & Communications Chief Executive Officer Hyuncheol Lim, winner of the Oracle Reseller (Technology) Partner of the Year 2008 award, said: “We are a newcomer to Oracle, distributing in the Korean market.
