Oracle OpenWorld San Francisco, CA – September 23, 2008

News Facts

Delivering on its commitment to top-down application management and enhancing the end user experience, Oracle today announced a collaboration with Intel and Net Optics to ease customer adoption of high-performance server solutions for passive real user monitoring with Oracle® Real User Experience Insight.
A variety of enterprise reference configurations spanning high availability and fault tolerant capabilities are now globally available, providing uniquely customizable solutions based on the Intel® SR2500 and SR1550 server chassis with Intel® Xeon processor-based platforms and non-intrusive network regeneration Taps from Net Optics.
The reference configurations developed for these server solutions are part of Intel® Enabled Server Acceleration Alliance (ESAA) program whose large base of trusted partners offer deep expertise in software and hardware services and turnkey solutions for customers worldwide.
Today’s announcement supports Oracle’s strategy of delivering complete, integrated and end-to-end product suites on an open, standards-based middleware and database architecture. Oracle’s approach helps customers to simplify computing environments, lower cost and risk, and provides greater choice and flexibility.
