Recognizes System Integrators for Driving Customer Best Practices Using Oracle Technology
Redwood Shores, CA - December 9, 2008
Empowering System Integrators (SI) to deliver customer excellence using Oracle technology, Oracle today announced the Oracle Deputy CTO Program.
Expanding on the successful program initiated at BEA, the Oracle Deputy CTO Program recognizes an elite group of highly influential Oracle Technical Architects from North American Oracle SI organizations that have delivered innovative services and solutions to customers using Oracle technology.
Understanding that Oracle’s technology stack is an essential part of the service and solutions SIs deliver to clients, the Oracle Deputy CTO program delivers further value to these SIs by providing increased access to Oracle sales, training, knowledge and implementation best practices to help improve revenue and overall customer satisfaction.
Oracle plans to grow this program by reviewing additional nominated candidates quarterly and naming new Oracle Deputy CTOs on an annual basis.
Recognizing SI Success
Oracle’s SIs—both the larger consulting companies as well as smaller, specialized firms—help customers deploy Oracle-based solutions, maximize functionality, and rapidly achieve return on investment by delivering business process capabilities, industry experience, tailored services, and/or solution and market expertise.
The Oracle Deputy CTO Program will help accelerate success within SI organizations by recognizing and rewarding leading Oracle evangelists who have creatively utilized Oracle technology to deliver value to customers.
The program will provide Oracle Deputy CTOs and in turn, their organizations, with:
Invaluable Oracle information and resources, including sales, training and best practice materials,
The ability to provide input back into Oracle to help influence future product releases,
Innovative uses of the technology and best practices helping the SI organizations deliver innovative services and solutions to their clients,
Help determining the scope and size of projects, allowing them to reduce risk and exposure of delivering services and solutions off schedule and over budget, and
Increased brand recognition as a specialist in Oracle technologies.
"Expanding on our joint success, the Deputy CTO program further emphasizes the commitment Oracle is making to our relationship, our business, and our joint client success”, said Pat Russo Principal, Technology Integration Practice Deloitte Consulting LLP. “The recognition of our skilled technology leaders and the access to information Oracle is offering through the Deputy CTO program will further enable Deloitte Consulting LLP to innovate around the Oracle Technology and drive further value to our customers."
“The impact technology can have on a business is directly linked to how it is used and implemented,” said John Gray, group vice president, North America Technology Alliances & Channels, Oracle. “This program is designed to help empower an elite group of Oracle Technical Architects from across our SI channel with the product knowledge, implementation best practices, and access to resources and information to allow them to deliver innovative services and solutions to their customers built atop of Oracle technology.”
