Oracle Education Foundation Partners with China Children and Teenagers’ Fund to Deliver Teacher Training Event
66 Chinese Teachers Learn How to Prepare Students for Success in a Global Economy

In cooperation with the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund (CCTF) and Enkon Organization, the Oracle Education Foundation (OEF) recently welcomed 66 teachers from 65 schools to the “International Training for Teacher Comprehensive Quality and Capability” event, held from October 16-18, 2008.
During the three-day event, teachers learned how to use OEF’s ThinkQuest platform to design and implement online learning projects that will help students develop important 21st century skills, including creativity, teamwork, and technology skills.
Participating teachers joined a global community of over 397,000 students and teachers in 60 countries who currently benefit from ThinkQuest.
Partnership Background
OEF, CCTF, and Enkon Organization launched pilot project in 2007 that leveraged ThinkQuest to create a successful collaborative learning community for primary school students.
OEF and CCTF also partnered with the National Center for Education Technology and the Shanghai Center for Education Technology to implement ThinkQuest in over 400 schools across China.
