News Facts

Oracle today unveiled Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA) 2.4, delivering new out-of the box Oracle AIA Process Integration Packs (PIPs) for Oracle® Transportation Management 6.0 to the Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle’s Siebel CRM.
Oracle AIA provides a complete and open way for organizations to integrate end-to-end business processes across a broad range of custom, Oracle or third-party applications, while gaining efficiencies, increasing competitive edge and lowering total cost of ownership.
These latest Oracle AIA Process Integration Packs utilize Oracle Transportation Management 6.0, a global transportation management system that helps streamline transportation planning, execution, financial settlement, visibility and business process automation across all modes of transportation.
Additionally, customers will benefit from Oracle Fleet Management, the industry’s first combined shipment and asset-centric transportation solution that enables companies to manage private fleet and common carrier networks on a single platform for increased asset utilization, lower transportation costs and reduced environmental impact.
Three of these new Oracle AIA Process Integration Packs utilize the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1, Oracle’s latest version that enables organizations to drive greater value across the enterprise and benefit from new, industry-specific capabilities.
Oracle AIA Process Integration Packs for Oracle Transportation Management deliver prebuilt integrations to the Oracle E-Business Suite and Siebel CRM, enabling logistic service providers, manufacturers, retailers and wholesale distributors to rapidly configure and deploy business processes and quickly adapt to changing business requirements.
