New Release of Oracle Customer Master Data Management Solution Focused on Integration, Usability and Speed of Implementation
Redwood Shores, CA – May 13, 2009
Oracle today announced the availability of Oracle® Customer Hub 8.1, the latest version of the industry’s leading master data management solution.
Oracle Customer Hub enables organizations to consolidate customer data from disparate systems, cleanse, master, govern and share this information throughout the enterprise.
Oracle Customer Hub now provides a new set of composite web services to help speed Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) enablement and supports out-of-the-box integration with Oracle’s Siebel Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and the Oracle E-Business Suite through Oracle Application Integration 2.3 (AIA).
Siebel CRM and Oracle E-Business suite have been updated to become “MDM Aware”, which enables these applications to interact with outside sources of master data.
Oracle Customer Hub’s AIA composite application user interface enables non-Oracle applications such as web and legacy applications to become “MDM Aware” and pre-integrated with the hub. This significantly reduces the cost related to modifying and connecting these systems to Oracle Customer Hub.
This version also provides new usability and fast implementation enhancements, helping speed time to value for MDM projects.
Industry Leading Flexible Integration and Data Quality Management Capabilities
Oracle Customer Hub 8.1 and AIA 2.3 help ease integration and provide enhanced data quality and management by providing:
MDM aware applications with both push and pull modes of operation that give customers end-to-end customer master data management.
The integration of Composite Web Services that significantly ease the incorporation of master data into business processes.
Oracle Customer Hub has a new set of usability and fast implementation features. This includes:
A new account hierarchy capability.
Enhanced application deployment manager.
Integration and enablement of Oracle Identity Management and Oracle Virtual Directory.
These enhancements simplify hub configuration, increase usability and helps speed implementations.
Customers can now quickly incorporate master data into both Oracle and non-Oracle applications, enabling their internal structures to transfer data to enterprise-wide business processes.
“Organizations across all industries are working to improve the quality of their master data to drive efficiencies and reduce costs,” said Pascal Laik, vice president, Master Data Management Products, Oracle. “With Oracle Customer Hub 8.1 and Application Integration Architecture, Oracle delivers a unique combination of MDM assets enabling one of the fastest time to value returns in the MDM market”
