Gartner, Inc. has named Oracle a leader in its report “Magic Quadrant for IT Project and Portfolio Management, 2009.”*
Gartner defines Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) as solutions that “provide visibility into the current state of organizational initiatives, resources, and spending through the centralized collection of data from multiple sources and perspectives.”
In a separate Gartner report, “Market Share: Project and Portfolio Management Software, Worldwide, 2008,”** Oracle ranked number one in project and portfolio management (PPM) in 2008, based on the combined estimated total software revenues for both Oracle and recently acquired Primavera.
