Oracle Recognizes Partners From Around the Globe For Innovation and Business Achievement
Annual North America Titan Awards and First Annual PartnerNetwork Global Awards Showcase Partner Excellence
ORACLE OPENWORLD, San Francisco, Calif. – October 12, 2009
Recognizing partners for innovative and successful uses of Oracle technology, Oracle today announced the recipients of the Oracle North America Titan Awards and the first annual Oracle PartnerNetwork Global Awards.
Winners were selected for excellence in solving real-world customer challenges and for their development and deployment of Oracle technology.
Leading Partners Take Home Coveted Oracle North America Titan Awards
Now in its sixth year, the Oracle North America Titan Awards recognizes partner solutions and best practices developed or delivered in fiscal 2009.
Honorees demonstrated excellence in categories including sales, marketing and solution development and were selected by a panel of 68 judges that included IDC analysts, Everything Channel journalists and Oracle sales, marketing, and development executives.
Winners were announced at the annual Partner Awards and Reception following the Oracle PartnerNetwork Forum on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Moscone South in San Francisco, CA.
The 2009 Awards recognized 13 leading partners, across 17 solution and momentum categories. Recipients included:

Oracle Puts a Spotlight on Global Partner Excellence
In its inaugural year, the Oracle PartnerNetwork Global Awards recognizes partner excellence in a number of categories, including technology, applications, industry, Accelerate and midsize. In addition, the award featured a separate track specifically recognizing VAD partner performance from around the world.
Nominees were judged by a renowned team of IDC executives and analysts, including Martin Canning, Philippe de Marcillac, Henry Morris, and Ricardo Villate. VAD winners were selected by a panel of Oracle Worldwide Alliances & Channels executives.
The awards were presented during the Oracle PartnerNetwork Global Awards ceremony on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco, CA.
