New Furniture Chain in Saudi Arabia Implements Oracle Retail in Six Months

Al-Sorayai Group has implemented Oracle® Retail Merchandising and Stores applications in only six months to support the launch of its new furniture retail concept, HomeStyle, in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Sorayai, which manufactures carpets and rugs, has expanded its business to provide home furnishings and HomeStyle is the latest concept aimed at strengthening the Group’s retail offering.
With an aggressive growth strategy in place, Al-Sorayai is using the Oracle Retail applications to automate retail processes between head office and the growing number of retail outlets, and to collaborate better with suppliers to ensure supply meets demand.
After evaluating Microsoft and SAP, Al-Sorayai selected Oracle Retail based on its strong retail functionality, scalability to support rapidly growing businesses and integration with its existing Oracle E-Business Suite Financials.
In addition, Al-Sorayai was able to take an accelerated implementation approach, deploying the Oracle Retail applications with minimal changes to benefit from the in-built retail processes quickly.
