China’s Daphne Selects Oracle® Retail to Develop Retail Platform to Support Long-Term Growth Initiatives

Daphne Holdings, one of China’s leading retailers in women’s footwear, has selected Oracle® Retail Merchandising and Planning applications to support its aggressive growth strategy and drive new business opportunities.
Having delivered rapid growth for its two brands Daphne and Shoe Box in the last ten years, the Group recognized the need for an integrated retail platform on which to further develop its dynamic business and having evaluated the market, selected Oracle Retail.
The selection of Oracle Retail Merchandising System, Oracle Retail Price Management and Oracle Retail Allocation will help Daphne to establish a scalable retail foundation that enables next generation practices for core merchandising operations and provides a holistic view of inventory performance.
Daphne will also deploy a suite of Oracle Retail Planning applications, starting with Oracle® Retail Merchandise Financial Planning, Oracle Retail Assortment Planning and Oracle Retail Item Planning, introducing an integrated planning practice across multiple categories, brands and channels including its 5,000 stores.
The Oracle Retail system will provide the science and analytics to help Daphne better understand customer purchasing habits and preferences and to forecast, plan and execute decisions based on this actionable insight.
