Peach Aviation Selects Oracle’s Cloud-based Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management

New airline embraces innovation in human capital management with embedded social network in Japan

Peach Aviation Ltd. has selected cloud-based Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management (HCM).
Based at Kansai International Airport in Japan, Peach Aviation is a low cost carrier (LCC) that launched operations on March 1, 2012.
Part of Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle Fusion HCM helps companies realize the full potential of HR, helping provide value to every person in an organization by enabling them to know their people better, maximize their most valuable assets, and work as a team to achieve their business goals.
In an effort to differentiate itself from its competitors, Peach Aviation embraces a corporate culture in which the employees and their unique skills are better understood and leveraged by management.
As a part of this vision, Peach Aviation intends to create a cycle of continuous innovation by empowering its employees and maximizing their ability to impact the business. Peach Aviation’s HCM solution needs to be fully integrated to best deliver on these goals.
Peach Aviation plans to go-live with Oracle Fusion HCM in April, 2012, deploying the new system for all employees.
Peach Aviation will continue to proactively adopt innovative technology. The airline expects Oracle Fusion Applications public cloud option to scale with Peach as it adapts to a changing business environment in the aviation industry.
Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting Co., Ltd., a Platinum level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) is leading the HCM related projects at Peach including Fusion HCM.

Peach Aviation became Japan’s first official LCC (low cost carrier) in February 2011. From March 2012, Peach commenced flights from its home base, Kansai International Airport, to Fukuoka, Sapporo (Shin-Chitose) and Nagasaki. Osaka (Kansai) - Kagoshima route will commence in April 2012, Osaka (Kansai) - Seoul (Incheon) route will commence in May 2012, Osaka (Kansai) - Hong Kong route will commence in July 2012 and Osaka (Kansai) - Taipei (Taoyuan) route will commence in September.
