New Oracle PartnerNetwork Diamond Level Recognizes Breadth of Expertise in Elite Partners
OPN Specialized Continues to Expand Providing More Opportunities for Partners to Differentiate and Profit with Oracle
ORACLE OPENWORLD, SAN FRANCISCO – September 20, 2010
Further enabling partners to differentiate, grow and succeed with Oracle, the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) today announced a new Diamond level in the Oracle Partner Network Specialized program.
The Diamond level is designed to recognize and reward partners that provide significant value-added services to joint customers and officially recognize the investments they have made
New Diamond Level and Advanced Specializations Recognize Partners for Broad and Deep Expertise and Customer Value
The Diamond level distinction builds on the four current levels of the Oracle OPN program - Remarketer, Silver, Gold and Platinum – and rewards partners for their expertise as well as significant value-added services to develop, implement and deliver Oracle technologies.
Diamond partners will have invested significantly in delivering both broad and deep levels of expertise across core Oracle technologies with the achievement of at least 20 Specializations across Oracle’s extensive product portfolio. Diamond partners will have achieved at least five Advanced Specializations, which require at least 50 certified implementation specialists per Specialization area.
The number of required specializations for Diamond level will increase proportionally as the overall number of available specializations increases over time.
In addition to existing specialized partner benefits, Diamond partners receive the advantage of an Oracle Global Account Manager and senior executive sponsor, go-to-market opportunities, exclusive use of the Diamond program logo and annual global MDF allocation.
Accenture is the first global partner to qualify for Diamond level.
OPN Advanced Specializations are also available to Gold and Platinum partners and provide an incentive for emerging partners to be recognized for their advanced depth of implementation expertise in a specific product area.
Accenture, Fujitsu and Wipro have all already achieved Advanced Specialization certification for their deep and extensive Oracle expertise.
“Oracle is committed to providing partners at all levels and in every industry the tools and support they need to differentiate, grow and profit with Oracle,” said Judson Althoff, Oracle Senior Vice President of Worldwide Alliances & Channels and Embedded Sales. “With the addition of the new Diamond level program and Advanced Specializations, we are able to recognize those partners that have invested and excelled across the Oracle solution stack and are delivering significant value to our joint customers around the globe.”
“For nearly 20 years, Accenture has invested in developing and delivering leading Oracle-based solutions to customers around the globe,” said Jim Hayes, Managing Partner of Accenture's global Oracle practice. “Being named as Oracle's first Diamond level partner recognizes the extensive skills and unmatched experience we bring to help our clients achieve high performance with Oracle solutions.”
“Achieving Advanced Specialization for Oracle Database 11g allows us to further differentiate ourselves from the competition and showcase the investment we have made to become one of the world’s leading provider of Oracle Database 11g solutions,” said Arup Ratan Chakraborti, Global Head Oracle Alliance, Wipro Technologies.
