Mr Price Offers Customers a Consistent Cross-Channel Experience with Oracle Commerce Solutions
South African Retailer Launches New Commerce Platform on Oracle ATG Web Commerce

Mr Price, the South African fashion retailer, has implemented Oracle ATG Web Commerce applications to underpin its new cross-channel commerce offering which went live early this summer.
The launch of the ecommerce site is providing customers with access to the complete range of Mr Price clothing, footwear and accessories online, which were previously available in only the largest of its 1,000 stores nationwide.
Mr Price is using Oracle ATG Web Commerce to deliver a seamless experience for customers whether they are in store, on the web, on a mobile device or at a kiosk. The platform enables visitors to browse, shop, purchase, track an order, collect and return items through any of these channels.
The new site is also integrated with social media applications allowing customers to create wish lists and share liked items and purchase ideas with friends.
With online shopping increasing in popularity in South Africa, the selection of Oracle ATG Web Commerce over competitive solutions was key to Mr Price’s strategy to extend its cross-channel offering to meet growing demand and to expand into international markets.
The Oracle applications are enabling Mr Price to develop leading-edge cross-channel ecommerce capabilities, and, over time, integrate five distinct trading divisions into a single platform. This effort will unify and optimize customer interactions across channels and provide the scalability to support a rapid growth strategy.
