Gartner Magic Quadrants position vendors within a particular market segment based on their completeness of vision and their ability to execute on that vision.
According to Gartner, “leaders are vendors that are reasonably strong in the breadth and depth of their BI platform capabilities, and can deliver on enterprise wide implementations that support a broad BI strategy. Leaders articulate a business proposition that resonates with buyers, supported by the viability and operational capability to deliver on a global basis.”
The Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Foundation Suite offers a complete, open, and architecturally unified BI solution for enterprises. The suite serves every class of user, providing multiple channels of information access, and supporting all enterprise BI requirements including reporting, ad hoc query and analysis, “what-if” analysis, dashboards, scorecards, and unified Relational OLAP (R-OLAP) and Multidimensional OLAP (M-OLAP).
The software’s hot-pluggable design enable organizations to extend BI capabilities to existing Oracle and third-party data sources and applications including SAP.
“We believe Gartner’s recognition of Oracle in the Leaders Quadrant underscores our achievements in providing a complete, open and integrated BI platform that organizations select as their enterprise standard to deliver the highest performance and scalability for their most demanding analytic workloads,” said Paul Rodwick, vice president of Product Management, Oracle Business Intelligence.
