Oracle to Showcase Innovation for Financial Services Industry at Sibos 2011
Redwood Shores, Calif. – September 12, 2011
Oracle Financial Services will participate in Sibos 2011, September 19-23, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, where it will share insight and solutions that help financial institutions capitalize on emerging opportunities and compete more profitably, while navigating an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
Big data is a keynote focus for Innotribe@Sibos, where Amir Halfon, senior director of technology, capital markets, Oracle Financial Services, will discuss how financial services organizations can leverage technology innovation to identify patterns in huge data sets – including social media content – and then accurately predict trends. The Big Data Keynote is scheduled for Tuesday, September 20 at 2 p.m., followed by the Big Data Deep Dive at 4 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the Innotribe Space.
Generation-Y’s impending impact on commercial banking, and how banks can lay a foundation today for capturing this formidable emerging market segment, is the focus of Oracle’s Open Theater Presentation. Andrea Klein, vice president, global financial services, Oracle, will present “The Commercial Bank of the Future” on Wednesday, September 21 at 2:45 p.m. in Theater One (B113).
Attendees can visit the Oracle booth (B105) to experience demonstrations of Oracle’s industry-leading Oracle Financial Services Data Warehouse, as well as its solutions for retail banking and wealth management, commercial banking, billing and revenue management, integrated risk and finance management, and governance, risk and compliance.
