Senior Vice President,
Industries Business Unit
Sonny Singh is Senior Vice President of Oracle's Industries Business Unit, which includes the global application, technology, and industry business teams. Oracle's Industries Business Unit is responsible for defining Oracle's go-to-market strategy and driving business value into all customer interactions.
During his 21-year tenure at Oracle, Mr. Singh has been instrumental in driving Oracle's industry strategy in Oracle's sales, consulting, and marketing organizations. Currently, Mr. Singh leads a global organization of domain experts including solution specialists, business consultants, and product marketing and intelligence teams. Their charter is to help customers understand the depth and breadth of Oracle's solutions and technologies and how those solutions can be utilized to transform business.
Mr. Singh joined Oracle in 1990. Prior to his current position, he was a group vice president for Oracle Consulting, where he was responsible for the deployment of Oracle's enterprise solutions in North American Strategic Accounts. In this role, Mr. Singh had a strong track record of successful engagements and customer satisfaction. Throughout his career Mr. Singh has an accomplished record as an executive, line manager, and change agent. He is currently engaged in several strategic customer and partner relationships.
Mr. Singh holds a master's degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Punjab University, India. Currently he sits on the Board of the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose, California.
