Joanne Olsen is responsible for global oversight of Oracle's Cloud Services business, including service engineering, product management, customer management, and sales. In addition, she leads the company's applications sales, alliances, and consulting organizations in North America, supporting customers across all industries in the commercial market in the United States and Canada.
Prior to joining Oracle, Ms. Olsen held a variety of senior management positions within IBM Global Technology Services, a unit of IBM Global Services. Areas of responsibilities included leading Integrated Technology Services, Americas; Worldwide General Business and Channels; Global Technology Services, Canada; and Worldwide Business Continuity and Recovery Services. Ms. Olsen also held various executive management positions with IBM in sales, global financing, and hardware. She started with the company as a systems analyst in 1979.
Ms. Olsen is a graduate of Stroudsburg State University with Bachelor of Science degrees in mathematics, economics, and accounting.
