David Callaghan

David Callaghan is Senior Vice President, Alliances and Channels, for Oracle Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). He is responsible for all elements of Oracle PartnerNetwork across the region and leads Oracle as it continues to deliver customer success.

Mr. Callaghan is also central to driving the growth of Oracle’s global business units throughout EMEA with the promotion and deployment of Oracle’s industry-leading solutions.

Mr. Callaghan has been with Oracle for more than 10 years and previously held the role of Senior Vice President for Oracle UK, Ireland, and Israel. As U.K. Country Leader, Mr. Callaghan worked closely with customers and partners to expand Oracle’s business in the United Kingdom and beyond.

Mr. Callaghan joined Oracle from KPMG Consulting, where he was responsible for technology solutions across EMEA for three years. Prior to his role at KPMG, he worked at Digital Equipment for 11 years, where he held senior management roles at U.K., EMEA, and global levels.

Mr. Callaghan has worked in the IT industry for more than 30 years. He holds a BSc in maths and computing from Newcastle University and is a member of the U.K. CBI Presidents Committee. He is also President of Intellect and President of the British Quality Foundation, and he serves on the board of e-skills UK. In addition, Mr. Callaghan has served on the board of the Centre for Corporate Governance, London Business School.
