Senior Vice President, Alliances and Channels, Oracle Europe, Middle East, and Africa
David Callaghan is senior vice president, alliances and channels, for Oracle Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). He is responsible for all elements of Oracle PartnerNetwork across the region and leads Oracle as it continues to deliver customer success through the alignment of Oracle's applications and hardware.
Callaghan is also central to driving the growth of Oracle's global business units throughout EMEA through the promotion and deployment of Oracle's industry-leading solutions.
Callaghan has been with Oracle for more than 10 years and previously held the role of senior vice president for Oracle UK, Ireland, and Israel. As UK country leader, Callaghan worked closely with customers and partners to expand Oracle's business in the United Kingdom and beyond.
Callaghan joined Oracle from KPMG Consulting, where he was responsible for technology solutions across EMEA for three years. Prior to his role at KPMG, he worked at Digital Equipment Corporation for 11 years, where he held senior management roles at the UK, EMEA, and global levels.
Callaghan has worked in the IT industry for more than 30 years. He holds a BSc in mathematics and computing from Newcastle University and is a member of the CBI President's Committee in the UK. He is also president of Intellect and president of the British Quality Foundation, and and he serves on the board of the Tech Partnership, formerly known as e-skills UK. In addition, Callaghan has served on the board of the Centre for Corporate Governance at the London Business School.
