National Guard Health Affairs Integrates Hardware and Software Infrastructure to Improve High Availability and Speed of Critical Applications

To meet its requirement for greater capacity and efficiency to serve a rapidly growing employee base, National Guard Health Affairs (NGHA) deployed Oracle technology, including Oracle’s SPARC Enterprise M9000 servers, Oracle’s SPARC Enterprise M5000 servers, Oracle’s SPARC T4-2 servers, and Oracle WebLogic Server. The organization also upgraded its Oracle E-Business Suite 12 applications. This freed up 25 percent of system administration time and cut server power and cooling overheads to approximately 35 percent of previous costs by consolidating 20 standalone servers into just 8 servers.

Safaricom Halves Cost of Data Storage, Delivers Differentiated Telecommunications Services with an Enhanced Customer Experience

To improve data management, provide differentiated services, and enhance the customer experience, Safaricom implemented Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle’s Siebel Customer Relationship Management, and Oracle Business Intelligence Suite.
