Delivering a positive online customer experience is more critical today than ever before. The Oracle Retail paper, “The Evolution of Experience Retailing,” showed that consumers are not tolerant of retailers that fail to meet their expectations. Only 39 percent of survey respondents were willing to give a retailer a second chance after a negative experience, and 53 percent switched to a rival retailer straight away.
